Last week, I saw something that reminded me of a good friend that I had not talked to in a LONG time. We had been part of an organization that revolved around our kids, and we had become friends. But over time – life happened – things changed – and we seldom communicated. There was nothing wrong; our paths just diverged!
When I saw that image, I immediately thought of her and sent it to her. That brief contact led to us texting each other, catching up about what was going on in our lives and what our kids are doing now. It was GREAT!
Are there people like that in your life? People that you were once friends with, but now you have grown apart? Take the opportunity to just reach out and say, “Hi! I was thinking of you! How are you doing?” It will make you feel good, and I’ll bet it makes them feel good, too!
