Are You Wasting More Time Than Necessary?

Many entrepreneurs don’t always feel like they’re getting anything done … despite the long hours 🕛 and hard work. They’re pretty sure they’re being inefficient and feel like there’s never enough time. And that’s exhausting! 😩

So what’s the antidote?

  1. Get clear 💡 about what you’re trying to accomplish. It is too easy to chase after the latest shiny ✨ thing. Decide what you want to accomplish, and pursue that! Make it a measurable goal 📏.
  2. Make a plan that supports your goal. Choose activities that will support your goal. Be deliberate about this. This is how you will spend your time!
  3. Set up support systems. Set up a system to track your progress 📈, not only the progress toward the big goal, but also the activities that support your goal. This might be in the form of an Excel spreadsheet. Seeing what you are actually doing will help you make corrections when necessary.
  4. Don’t be afraid to say “no.” When you are presented with an opportunity that doesn’t align with your goal, say “no.” 🙅‍♀️ When you have a bright idea that doesn’t align with your goal, say “no” to that also.

Do your goal setting and planning in quiet. Do it separately from your day-to-day activities. Be clear in your language and remove any ambiguity. Stick with it, even when you’re feeling short on time or energy. Be sure to add time to keep updating your systems.

In the end, you’ll feel more focused, get more done 💪, and enjoy your business a lot more than you thought you could.
